MIAMI, FLORIDA -- Second day, over 5 hours on the phone and the only thing straigh about Straigh Talk is that they are the worst company in the world. Not just that the customer service associates have as a second language English, is the matter that no one knows what to to. When you talk to over 5 persons and all of them provide wrong information and the problem still not fix, that is call SUCK as a company. I mean, these people should feel ashame of having cheap labor and a bunch of morons answering phones that can not help at all. This is not stopping here, I will make sure to move earth and sky to advise people of how bad it is. And this is just a phone that I bough for my daughter just for emergency, thanks God I had my normal provider. Think it twice before decide to get this scam.

I had to call them once, because I never set up my voice mail, for some reason it has a passcode on it and I kept getting voice mail indicators.

My favorite part of the conversation was the representative telling me she could see the serial number of my phone since I was calling from it and verified the model. Her next question was "Are you calling from your Straight Talk phone?"

Had to laugh at that one, I simply couldn't help it - and she was confused as to what was so hilarious.

I tried that service for a few months. It does save you a little $$. I was generally satisfied with the service-but then again I never had to call their customer service lines either.

This review was a pretty difficult one to decipher. To me it seemed as if it was written by someone who only knew English as a second language. Ultimately, it would have been of more help to explain the problem their customer service was being contacted for and how the problem was being handled so poorly.

I think the OP's chief complaint is that the customer service representatives are outsourced (to the Phillipines in this instance). When you call it is MORE than apparent they are reading scripted responses, not listening to your problem/question/input and will transfer you back and forth only to have you start over with the next person and hear EXACTLY the same scripted responses. They are owned by tracfone, I had to resolve my issue by writing directly to tracfone corporate.

In addition, the time you spend talking to them, if you have their $30.00 limited plan, is deducted from your minutes .
