Hotel.com Complaint - Misrepresenting hotel and hellish customer service rep
Hotel.com cloaks itself with legalize, i.e. not responsible for changes etc. made by the hotel, seasonal availability etc. We booked a room where we wanted a pool. Of course the pool was closed and had been closed for several months including the summer season when we were visiting. The hotel staff stated that all the online services and booking services had been advised of the change months earlier.
The service representative at hotel.com compounded this experience by refusing to allow me to speak to a supervisor. "I will not have you speak to a supervisor", and "I am authorized to refuse you speaking to a supervisor".
Never, never, never use this company... I can only imagine what mischief they can get into. BUYER BEWARE!
