PHOENIX, ARIZONA -- In response to many American's complaints towards Alpine Lending's services, I worked at Alpine Lending, and I regret it. When I was offered a job, I was informed I would be an "Assistant Loan Officer". I thought I was special and blah blah blah. I went to the interview, I was hired, so I filled out the paper work the same day. The next day, I went to their "orientation" at that point I was like "orientation, I'm an assistant!" Well I was herded into a room with maybe 20 other "assistant loan officers". After the meeting, I later saw my "office". It was a call-center! I was cold-calling families in Colorado (in and around Denver) even though I was based in AZ! It was a high pressure place. If I didn't set at least 4 appointments a day for 3 days, I was gone. I desperatly needed money so I worked my butt off! There were days I had 3 appointments set, and there were days I had 0. Those days, I was chewed out by Greg* (*name with held) who acted like this was an easy game. I'm not bragging, but I'm good at sales, but trying to have someone set an appointment to meet a Senior Loan Officer is no easy task. In the long run, I began to HATE telling people in bad situations we could do them any justice, with deep down, knowning we couldn't. And I'm sorry. It's a dirty company, I regret those 3 months, and I'm on your side for your complaints. When Alpine Lending calls, tell them flat out you're on the "do-not-call-list" they'll never call, if they do, report it. Hanging up won't do any good, they'll only harrass you more. Once again, I appologize on my part, please do not hate me, I was lied to from the get-go.
