Spirit Airlines Complaint - Service
POMPANO BEACH, FLORIDA -- Never fly them again!!!, and I hope whoever reads this will do so.
Everything is a "surprise charge"; luggage, soft drinks, blanket, pillow YOU NAME IT YOU PAY IT !!!!
This airline is a joke. We used them to fly from Ft. Lauderdale to Lima and back. For almost six hours we have seen no steward except when they are doing the safety info, if you really need assistance or (very responsive)when you order something and obviously pay for it ( i.e. duty free).
We have taken a local (Peruvian Airlines) airline from Lima to Cusco as well. The flight is 55 minutes, we have been offered breakfast, (lunch on return flight) and a wide choice of beverages (including beer, wine etc.)at no charge.
The most ridiculous thing is that in Lima, SPIRIT has its own "Security System " to make sure you bring no soft drinks or other type of liquids after you have already passed through the real airport security check point. Some people really got upset. I recall a young lady who took the unopened bottle of pop back to the place she got it from. Not sure if she recovered te cost. I think best way to respond to this is to write a "nice review " there is nothing else you can do .
