Home Depot - Delivery Service is Poor Complaint - Poor Delivery Service -
Firstly, about two moths ago, I had my first snafu with the Home Depot shipping dept. I ordered a twin pack of Napa wrought iron chairs, then 1 week later I'm told that they are on backorder. So, I ask for my order to be cancelled, as the same chairs were in the local Home Depot and since I was entertaining that weekend, I decided to go pick them up myself. It took two weeks for my account to be credited!! But, sadly even though I had experienced this situation, it's the end of the summer season for patio furniture to be purchased in the local stores, and I noticed that they had the matching chaise lounge on sale online. So, on Monday 8/23, I reluctantly ordered the chaise, but I managed to verify if it was on back order before placing the order. I was told that the chaise was not on back order, so I went ahead and placed the order. It is now Thursday 8/26, and it still has not been shipped yet. It's very hard to believe that it takes three or more days just to get an order set up to be shipped?! I would not suggest buying online and many times paying outrageous shipping prices, only to have to wait, wait, wait, and wait some more.
