Whirlpool - Door Replacement
Refrigerator - Complaint
Bought a side by side refrigerator---freezer door was defective after a delay (replacement door was back ordered) the new door was put on, however the service man refused to take the defective door. After phone call to service company learned that Whirlpool's directive was not to take defective parts back--was the customer's problem to dispose of.
Well I live in a rural area where the trash pickup will not take bulk items, so I have to find someone with a truck and transport to the dump, then pay for the dump to accept the item. When I explained all this for the second time to customer service at Whirlpool--her suggestion was to keep the door stored for future parts--do you believe that response!!!
In the future will be very leary of purchasing anything with the Whirlpool name.....
