Budget Rent-A-Car Complaint - NEVER AGAIN - Dodge charger
DFW AIRPORT, TEXAS -- I had never rented from the DFW airport Budget car rental center and I never will again. I made my reservation through Expedia and was charged 159.00. I get to the counter and explain that I had not rented like this before and had many questions. I was offered and upgrade and told that it was a special deal by the representative I asked how much would the total be above what I already payed. I was told only about 8 dollars a day and then the taxes. The representative rushed through the contract and so I once again stopped her after mention of all the fees and such and asked about the total again and was told the same. She took my card and gave me the paperwork saying 304.02, she said that this was the total and that I would not be charged on the card that I had on me but the card that was already charged. NO, this was a new total on top of the already charged. I asked if I needed to have someone look over car with me or sign anything about any problems with it. I was told no, it was taken care of. Of course not, when I return car, they make me fill out an accident report form for dents on the front end that were there when I rented the car. I call to try and at least get an apology for the way this was handled after I found out from phone representative about the charges and was continually interrupted and then hung up on after I waited ten minutes. The representative couldn't even listen to get my rental agreement numbers right, she kept interrupting while I was saying them. Horrible customer service and shady dealings with this company. I have rented fro Enterprise for years and never had any problems like this.
