Bally Total Fitness Complaint - Poor service and equipment matinence
My husband and I joined Ballys Fitness for the benefit of using the pool because I suffer from painful back issues. We were not aware that the Whirlpool was broken or that it been 9mths since it had not been running. My husband and I did get to enjoy working out in the pool for 6 days. Then the pool broke. First we were told 48hrs to be fixed. Sounds reasonable enough then we are told 2 weeks or longer. My husband and I had no choice, but to join another gym. We called to cancel our membership and was first put on hold for 20mins and then told that we could not get a refund on a membership that we clearly couldn't use. We did manage to cancel the membership, but Ballys would not refund our start up fee. Beware of broken equipment and empty promises.
