Evercom correctional billing services Complaint - Dropping calls - inmate calls

inmate calls - Complaint
Review by rhiannon on 2010-08-27
My fiance-adam-is now in a hillsborough county, fl jail. i use correctional billing for our calls. I'm terminally ill w/internal heart defibrillator and brain lesions so I live on disability with my 3 children(2 of whom are disabled)which creates money problems. in the last 5 weeks c. billing has dropped 21 of my calls. i have not made any 3rd party calls, pushed any buttons, had long silences in our conversations, etc. i know the rules. still, when I do go through everything to dispute these calls they give you the run around. there's no reason for that many calls to be dropped at any time. i get charged $2.41 whether the call lasts for 2 minutes or the whole 20 minutes. i hope one of their loved ones ends up somewhere in jail and needs to use c. billings services-THAT would be karma!i guess, for now, they'll keep stealing and feel their doing us a service.
