Best Buy.com Complaint - four items ordered for Christmas.............
EL CAJON, CALIFORNIA -- A week or so before Christmas I visited my local Best Buy store in search of a particular item for a Christmas gift. The item was a DVD, which they did not have in stock. It was suggested that I go to BestBuy.com to order it. I did that, I also ordered another DVD, and two 15.00 gift cards. I had the items shipped to another address, and asked them to inform me of delivery. My credit card was charged IMMEDIATELY for all of these items, only one of them was delivered..which was the hard to find DVD. I contacted BestBuy.com, and they said that often the items are delivered separetely. The other items never arrived..now it is Feb 15, still nothing. I have e-mailed them MANY times, only told told that they would have to "investigate" it. Still nothing. Then suddenly, I received a 30.00 credit on my credit card, for the gift cards...but nothing for the DVD. Once again, I contacted them, I was told that they would have the appropriate person contact me about it. Still nothing! That was last month. I am furious...they have NO PROBLEM taking our money right away, but when it comes to making things "right"they avoid it. I wonder how much money they make off of ripping us off? Millions per year I would guess!....Mary W.
