Sears Complaint - Don't Buy Kenmore
My new refrigerator was delivered on 3/30/09. On 7/21/10 I had to make a service call for it not cooling. Gee, you have until 8/4/10 for a service call for a warm refrigerator in the summer. In the mean time it started working on its own. The day of the service call, between 8 and 12, I waited, I called Sears, I waited. At 3PM the technician shows up and says "I was wondering if you were still home". I guess they would just write customer not home" on the ticket. They did nothing since it was cooling. If they offer you the extended warranty take it. I purchased it for $70, only because the refrigerator made so many cracks and pops the first year. Sometimes it would sound if someone were knocking on the door.
Since I had the warranty they told me I could rent a refrigerator and they would reimburse me. Yeah, right. DON'T BUY ANY APPLIANCE FROM SEARS.
