VIRGINIA -- Long story short, but in May I bought 18"x18" tile that had been discontinued. Sadly, 2 of the boxes that were on the pallet had the wrong tile and of course when I went back to the original place of purchase there was no more. Found what I needed at Mosiac Tile Company.

I emailed requesting a couple samples. Erin promptly replied and sent what I requested. Unfortunately I asked for the wrong samples, thus I ordered the wrong product! Idiot.

What seemed unfortunate at the time but turned out to be a blessing was half the tiles got broken in transit - NOT Mosiac's fault - so I was able to make a claim with the carrier and get some of the money back for the incorrect tile.

Anyway, I called and talked to Heather and told her I was an idiot and ordered the wrong thing and I needed to order more. I mentioned half the tiles got broken in transit and she was very apologetic for the breakage, even though it wasn't their fault. She quickly placed the new order and did me a supersolid by giving me a price break. I DIDN'T EVEN HAVE TO ASK, she just did it. I won't say how much of a discount because I don't want to risk her getting into trouble, but I'll tell you, it wasn't a token gesture, it was a substantial discount.

I'm an individual DIY'r and I'm sure my order was small potatoes for them but I was treated very well. Mosiac's customer service is excellent; when they said they would email info they did. They are professional and courteous on the phone. Highly recommend you check them out.
