Verizon Consumer Fios Complaint - Verizon Fios - a nightmare
MARYLAND -- Yet another horror story - I've had this issue for three months now. My April 2010 bill for Fios that was due in May was paid and posted on the 11th. My June bill states that I have a past due amount; three months later and the charge is still appearing on my bill, even though I faxed them a copy of the check two months ago and called more than 20 times. Every person you get gives you a different story. At one point I was transferred to India and the person kept telling me he could not access my account. I was told a supervisor would call within 4 hours and of course, there was no call. To add insult to injury, they added a late fee to my bill and without my permission added a "bundle" of services I didn't ask for. I was on the phone for hours, only to be told the order could not be cancelled, only the services removed. Today (a month later) I get a new bill showing the same services they added last month I didn't ask for. I spoke to 2 different people this afternoon; the first one said that the billing dispute was closed without being resolved; the second one said the billing dispute was resolved and they have a "delay" in their adjustments showing up on their bills - that is news to me! Another man told me the $5 increase I saw in my monthly fee was because they did a global "change of bill date." WTF?? I worked for Verizon from 1990-1996 and all I can say is I'm glad I am not part of their crappy company at this point. Beware folks!
