Support is an integral part of product value.
I bought a Sony DVDRW from firstname.lastname@example.org. I first asked if pricewatch was the owner and got no reply. Following this I have asked several times if there is a place to get updates for the drive which I found out is made by Lite-on. You get an applet that says they are looking for a rep. After several seconds the app cannot find a rep, but they'll get back to you soon. That's the extend of their technical support.
