TXU Complaint - Poor Service
On September 1st two of my kids were home sick with asthma when txu decided to shut my electric off due to there mistake. When I called them they tried to say I had an outstanding bill from the day I signed on with them. How does that happen?? They said I would have to pay it plus the reconnect fee, so I asked for a supervisor he explained that they would waive the fees but that it may take up to midnight before it would come back on. So all my food I had just bought to feed my children was ruined I had to take my oldest kid to the e. r. for his asthma because he was not able to receive his breathing treatments every 4 hours, I am a single mom of 3. I think txu should have to pay my son's e. r. bill plus reimburse me for the food that was wasted. They did not turn it back on until almost 6pm and I called them at 8am. When I called about noon to tell them I needed it on asap due to my son they said sorry there has to someone in the house on steady life support or in critical condition I would say not being able to breathe would be critical condition!!!
