Sky Cafe Compliment - A Hidden Treasure - Greek Food

Review by threedognight on 2010-09-03
BLOOMINGTON, INDIANA -- This small restaurant is located in a small strip mall between Ellettsville and Bloomington, Indiana. Both the mall and the restaurant front are nothing special to look at but the food is yummy, a little different than standard restaurant fare, well priced, and the service is good. The owner's/operators of Blue Sky are from Turkey.

I waited 41 years for my husband to invite me to dinner as he prefers home cooking to restaurants. But after I introduced him to Blue Sky, about once a week he'll ask if I want to go out for dinner.

I typically order a greek-type pizza called a Pide that is served with a bowl of spicy red lentil soup and some slaw with an unusual dressing. We usually get a plate of extra slaw to share--its that good! For the two of we pay less than $20.

I love Turkish Baklava, and traditional Greek food is divine. Glad to hear you and hubby are "dating" again!
