Dermajuv or Dermegist Complaint - Dermajuv or Dermegist not what you think... buyer beware of excessive return fees which only benefit the company, not the consumer

TEQUESTA, FLORIDA -- Sent to Dermajuv via email on 9/2/10:

I would like to know when I could expect a refund from your company for returned merchandise that you received from me on 8/23/10, RMA #21106080910. Your return from claims it takes 4-6 weeks to process a return, in addition to a $7.00 restocking fee per bottle even though one of the items I purchased was sold in a set of 3 different products that worked best together as a combination treatment according to your web- pitch and your sales department personnel via phone. The money back guarantee in really not a money back guarantee, as you are charging a fee to return a product that can't reused so no restocking fee should ever be assessed.

Information on a restocking fee of $7.00 per bottle was never disclosed during your online-sales-pitch in which the money back guarantee would really only result in a partial refund, as people such as myself would have reconsidered buying a product where a restocking fee is assessed at $7.00 per bottle, even though the bottles cannot be reused or returned to stock, as then you would be re-selling used product, which I assume you don't do. In any event, I would like my refund sooner than 4-6 weeks as you have already had the returned product for over 12 days, and when I called today someone picked up the phone twice and hung-up on me. I assume that whoever is answering phones today doesn’t want to hassle with customers as after all it is the day before a 3-day weekend (Labor Day). Why would an employee want to bothered with labor. Very unprofessional. I would recommend your products for women in age ranges between mid 20'-40's, but not someone like myself over 50 with normal to oily skin. I have since seen a Dermatologist to work with my skin after trying your products, which had no positive results, just breakouts all over my face as your products may be more appropriate for youthful dry flaky skin that would in fact be able to absorb the moisture components contained in all of your products. At least that is what my Dermatologists office suggested. I have been dealing with professionals since I returned your products. I am now paying charges for a Dermatologist, and could really use the refund monies in order to pay for my doctor’s fees.

Please explain to me why it takes 4-6 weeks to cut a check and toss out returned products, as there is no restocking involved, just a credit issued after you have charged a hefty fee to toss out unwanted products. This could easily be accomplished in less than 5 minutes on a computer.

thank you for the information. often times claims for facial products are all hyped up. i have found easy to obtain products from the walmart shelf are best for my skin type.
