Straight Talk Informative - Straight Talk on Straight Talk - Straight Talk

Review by PrisonChaplain on 2010-09-03
I left Verizon and entered Straight Talk with a Wal-Mart Samsung T401g phone. I selected the option of 1000 texts and 1000 minutes with an amount of MB for net. (I am sorry I cannot remember the last one).
I had it for about two days and then set off from rural West Texas to go to GA via Oklahoma, Arkansas, etc. On our trip we visited N and S Carolina and Tenn etc. I have had just fine coverage. The calls and texting worked fine every time. I am enjoying my move as I am getting ready for retirement. I work for the State and have a part time job at local Wal-Mart Pharmecy. So I had seen the ST Phones and all. I had been paying for my spouse and I about $130 a month. She now (still with the company) is paying about $50 for 500 minutes. I am paying the $30 for the 1000 etc. So I can take that money and use it elsewhere. Good luck with your choice!

I love that Straight Talk appeals to people from all walks of life. You mention liking it as you get ready for retirement, while I find it ideal to use the unlimited everything plan for my small home based business. It's meant I am assured of the cost monthly, so can easily budget for it. At $45, it is also cheaper than any other I've come across, and having the choice between Verizon or AT&T networks, means I still have great coverage, even when I travel. Been using Straight Talk for about 6 months now, and to date have had no hassles. Seems like the perfect option no matter what your personal situation.

i really like it. straight talk is the best prepaid cellphone service provider that i have ever had. i love how i do not get charged extra for any thing and i can talk text and get on the internet when ever i want. the only bad thing is that the phones that straighttalk uses are not that good in quality and do not have insurance on them so if your expensive phone breaks you have to buy a totaly new one but other than the phones them selvs the company is great. iv had my phone almost a year and havent had a technical problem yet
