Campbell Soups Complaint - Campbell Soups Are Really Going Down Hill

Review by soupsucks on 2010-09-04
CAMDEN, NEW JERSEY -- I just tried a can of Campbell Vegetable for the first time in a couple years. Boy has it gone downhill. There was maybe two minute pieces of beef, huge, nasty potatoes and barley. Very little vegetables and NO taste. I quite buying their Chunky Clam Chowder about 6 months ago because it was so nasty and now this. I will not buy Campbell soup again!

Disgusted in Arizona

Yeah, I'm not a fan of ANY canned soups.

Me neither, Dryad. Although I have found some in the organic section of my store in the US. Lots of flavor too. There was one called "Chicken Fajita" that had a nice flavor and great ingredients. Can't remember the brand though :(

I'll bet they have some "canned Pho" somewhere. But, you can always get a bunch of it to-go from your local place and freeze it, Wally. That way, if you're ever desperate for food, you'll have some handy!

Oh Man I can eat PHO or Fa all day long best soup ever in my opinion.

Wally, it's Pho, just pronounced fa, as in fa, la, la, la. It is good!

Yeah when I go eat it I say it wrong and the owners look at me weird but then again I'm not a native viet so my bad lol

Well, now you will always say it right! They probably don't really care how you pronounce it anyway :)

I tried a can of chicken and stars and chicken with rice a few weeks ago and it pretty much tasted like someone already ate it, puked it back in the can, sealed it and then sold it.

What the crap happened to the flavor we enjoyed 20 years ago? Just like Doritos, they are total crap now too.
