Dell Computer Corporation Complaint - Dell computers and service
I bught a Dell and had nothing but nightmares from day 1. it had to be serviced under warranty approximately 7 times under the warranty. Then 9 days after the warranty ceased the hard drive crashed for the third time. needless to say they wanted money, money, money. I could not get a service person who spoke English well enough to understand my problems. I am not racist, but feel like a major company needs to have people who can service an entire country in English. The tech got nasty and I asked for a supervisor. they finally relented and sent a new hard drive, but I had to pay for servicing and postage. the hard drive was no good when I went to send it back they wanted me to pay for the postage again for a replacement and to send the worthless one back. They are crooked and I hope and rule the day they go under because they chose to go cheap with farming out their service people. Also watch your phone bill, they gave me a number that wound up being charged as foreign to India. what a joke this company is. I am so glad I no longer have anything else to do with Dell. oh by the way they got in trouble this summer and overcharged finance charges and I paid off my account in June and just got a refund for almost $90.00 due to their error. what else did they screw up with and not get caught doing, absolute crooks.
