Wendy's Complaint - Bad Customer Service
LYNCHBURG, VIRGINIA -- I am not usually one to complain about every little thing that happen to me. Matter of fact, normally I pay my money and leave without saying a word. But this time I'm fed up! I use to go to Wendy's on Memorial Ave in Lynchburg, VA. I stop going after I had an incedent that was totally uncalled for. I was at the drive thru getting ready to place my order. This rude lady asked me was I ready to place my order. I stated just a moment please. Evidently I was taking to long. She says, Are you ready yet? I told her I'm not ready. She comes out of the back door and started hollering at me saying that I'm messing up her time! I drove off.
I couldn't believe that an employee that is suppose to be working to keep customers are running them away. (I mind you this is only one incident out of many before) This was just the straw that broke the camels back for me. I didn't go back to this restaurant for almost 1 1/2. Today I decided to go back and see if maybe, just by chance things had changed. Nothing had changed. I get to the drive thru. A young lady with an attitude is asking me if I wanted the combo. I said no thank you. She said what do you want. I said one moment please. A couple of seconds go by and she asks, "are you ready". I asked for a salad. I get to the window. She doesn't have a pleasant look on her face. She takes my money and hands me my food like she was disguisted that I came. Because of past experiences in dealing with Wendy's leaving something out or the salads not being fresh. I set there to inspect my food. ( normally I don't do this. but when you have someone talking to you like you're the scum of the earth... you're almost afraid to eat the food. She came back to the window and yelled are you missing something. I said no I'm just inspecting my food. She rolls her eyes, slams the window and starts yelling at another co-worker about what I'm doing. I felt like this was totally unprofessional and uncall for. I drove off with my food. I am tired of this particular Wendy's getting away with this type of mess. The manager won't do anything about it. They are just as bad as the rest of them. Why should I keep giving my money to something that is not representing the product properly? I'm tired of this and we want change. I know other people with the same complaints! Somebody please help!
