Straight talk phone Complaint - Don't buy Straight talk prepaid cell phones
I made the mistake of purchasing a $100 Straight talk pre paid cell phone from Walmart about three months ago. Since day one, the phone reception is very poor and I have had several dropped calls (embarrasssing). I called the company today and they had me reset the phone to try and resolve the dilemma, to no avail. I called the company again and they told me to send the phone to them and they would give me a new one is two weeks. Two weeks? What am I supposed to do without a phone for two weeks, I asked? They couldn't answer that...they said it was there policy. I never should have left Virgin mobile, because of their great customer service and good phone reception. The only reason why I switched was because the Walmart sales person told me Straight talk was on the Verizon network and I would get better reception...what a lie! Walmart, you should drop this product from all your stores! I am writing a letter to the Straight talk (Trac fone) CEO, Mr. Fredrick J. Pollack to express my huge disappoint. I want my money back for the $100 phone!
