Dish Network Complaint - Avoid Dish Network
I would avoid Dish Network if I were you. I have had to keep them for 2 years due their "contract". Now I have moved into an apartment that will not allow Satellite. I called to cancel and they are making me pay for the remaining months (per contract) and making me pay to send THEIR equipment back (per contract). I have 30 days from the date of cancel to send it back, however, it will take 7-10 days to get the boxes. Their customer service is rude and totally uncaring, they just read from their little cards. I informed them I would never ever be a customer again and would pass this information along, basically, I got a "so what". They have continued to raise their prices, I have talked to them about this, and anytime I have talked with the "customer service" (what an oxymoron), they are just plain rude. Their answer is always the same. "We are sorry you feel that way, ma'am" Pat answer, always the same, no customer service. Where has that gone? They apparently do not care to retain their customers. I really love satellite, but once I have the opportunity to have it again, it sure won't be Dish Network.
