United Airlines Complaint - United are appalling
As a 50-year-old man, it's been my experience that service on major carriers has declined rapidly over the last 20 years to the point where it has now become minimal and verging on indifferent. I have flown with United several times.
My recent experience with United was as follows:
Despite repeated attempts - including a new password issued by United's website - online check in did not work. Have United's web designers actually tried to use the web site. Franky, it sucks.
On the flight itself, the plane boarded quickly and efficiently. But attendants were not all as friendly or helpful as one would wish.
When drinks came round it proved impossible to ask for a refill. The food was truly appalling. Basic rice and chicken with a tiny cookie. In 2010! Shameful.
Video screen was tiny and of poor quality. Selection of movies was dire.
The flight arrived slightly early, which was great, but United's service is basic and indifferent.
