Frontier Communications Complaint - Pathetically incompetent
I got stuck with Frontier after Verizon sold out to them in my area.
Their first act was to send me an e-bill for one line which was a duplicate of a bill I had already paid to Verizon. The next month I received an e-bill for one line but not the other. Each time I tried to contact them for assistance, but it is apparently impossible to communicate with this "communications company." Customer service does not accept email queries about phone service, and their customer service phone line is nothing but a maze of recorded information, with no way to reach a human being to resolve a problem. In exasperation, I finally emailed one of the area representatives listed on their web site, but did not receive the courtesy of a response. I finally gave up and just sent them a payment representing my best guess at what I might owe.
The last straw was today, September 9 - when I received an email billing notice specifying that the amount listed was due September 1!
I'm seriously thinking of eliminating the land lines entirely and just using our cells, which are serviced by a competent provider.
