Enterprise Rent-A-Car Complaint - Be careful - if possible avoid them
DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA -- I rented for two days - suppose to drop of car at 4 PM on Friday - I asked them if there is a way to drop off the keys after hours. They told me to leave the keys with front desk at the hotel lobby - car rental is located at the basement of the hotel. I left the keys at the front desk at 6:45 PM along with the ticket that marks the time of entry into the hotel/enterprize parking. They suppose to charge me for Saturday only. however, they charged me until Tuesday because hotel front desk could not find the keys...I left for my home city on Saturday early morning...I do have the flight tickets as confirmation..also charged over 250 dollars for the key replacement.
When I called they told me that they will check who were working at the front desk during that day and come back to me by the end of the day with more details...I even gave them description of the lady who received the keys. I did n't hear from them..I called next day to inquire...they told me that we will call you in an hour....no response.
I thought Enterprize is a great company with good value system...it seems like they are chipping their own foundation that helped them to grow. Decided not to rent a car again...
