Trivest Real Estate/ El Dorado Ranch Apartments Complaint - Unsatisfactory Customer Service
WEBSTER, TEXAS -- To Whom It May Concern:
I'm writing with this complaint because of a problem I recently encountered with your company. I thought someone should know about it. I'm really upset by this.
Oct. 8, 2001
After weeks upon weeks of having my car nearly damage due to the apartment community being under construction, I decided that my car is definitely too old to endure the construction another day, week or month. So my husband and I decided to go apartment shopping again. There were other problems associated with the apartment complex as well.
On Oct. 8 at 4:15pm, I went to see the apartment manager or at least a salesperson. I informed Sheila Bunch, Property Manager, that I was not pleased with what was going on...initially she was sympathetic until I told her that I wanted to relet/ 'break' the contract. Then she took everything personal!!!!She became very rude and so I asked to speak to the manager, in which she replyed that she was the manager. At this point, I knew I was not going to get anywhere with her by myself so I stated that I will have to bring a lawyer, in which she replyed 'make sure you get one that knows something about contracts.' I said 'do not worry about that...I need your name and the apartment contacts name'. She started to say that she tried to give me that info. which was not true and she went back into the office and returned with some papers. The one she gave me she SNATCHED out of my hands and I asked her...did you just snatch that out of my hands and she looked at me and commenced to writing afterward she tried to say something else and I replyed 'just write'. At that point she slammed the papers down, walked out of the room and started to speak to someone on the phone. Completely rude, hostile and one of the meanest people I've ever encountered.
I retrieved the remainder of the information from Lisa, sales representative, who was much sweeter and more helpful. I was highly disappointed and offended by the acts of Sheila Bunch. Hopefully there will be some reprimand or apologies given for her actions.
Will I recommend your company to people I know? Maybe, but only if Sheila Bunch no longer works there.
Here's what I'd like El Dorado apartments to do: An Apology from Sheila Bunch with some form of reprimand for her.
I hope you can settle this problem in a timely and professional manner. I look forward to a personal response in 10 business days.
