Overstock.com Complaint - Shipping is ridiculous
On Aug 29 I ordered a hair straightener for my daughter for her birthday. We need it before Sept. 10. After a few days I checked, they didn't apply the pay-pal til Sept. 1, but said they shipped it the same day. A few days later, I received an email notice with a FedEx tracking # that didn't register with FedEx. On Sept. 7, I contacted Overstock.com and they said there was no shipping "progress" over the Labor Day weekend. On Sept. 9, FINALLY the FedEx tracking worked...and showed the item wasn't shipped until Sept. 7!!! They waited more than a freaking week to even begin to ship it!!! In the meantime, TWO items I ordered from TWO different companies in HONG KONG (FREE shipping) have both arrived in Georgia!!! And we're supposed to buy USA? Why? We can't even SHIP it to ourselves in a REASONABLE manner! Right now, it says "expected arrival date is Sept. 14. Just absolutely RIDICULOUS!
