The Bedroom Space Complaint - Poor Customer Service
The Bedroom Space has extremely poor customer service. I have been trying to get my problem resolved for a month and to no avail. I have called numerous times, someone listens to my complaint and then tells me they will look into it. Days pass without anyone calling me back. I get on the phone, reach another customer service person, explain the situation all over again, and the problem does not get resolved.
I have a bed that was shipped without all of the parts I need to put it together (platform bed was shipped with two sets of slats and no siderails). Also, since I needed to contact the company, I looked over the other pieces that I received. The stain on the footboard was incomplete. I told them about this and after several days (and another call from me to see what was going on) I received an email telling me that they would not be sending a replacement footboard because the finish on the bed was "distressed". No where in the ad for the bed does it say that it has a distressed finish. The headboard that I received is not distressed. The two nightstands that I ordered, which will actually attach to the bed if I ever can get all the pieces, are not distressed.
When I mentioned that I wanted to return the bed they told me that there would be a "restocking fee" and a "return shipping fee" even though I received a product that was damaged. They are giving me the run around, hoping I will go away. They have my $600 and I have a bed that is not functional and is defective. It is not a piece of furniture that I would be proud to display in my home.
