Milrestone Restaurant Informative - Unsanitary

Review by medust62472 on 2010-09-11
READING -- I have been in this restaurant a few times, the manager JoAnn seems to be high every time. And I gave up on her. I tried to give my concerns but it never mattered. The food there is handled by free hands. It is some guy at the buffet bar every time. They never wear gloves. They just put it out on there. The guys in the back complain and just put whatever on the breakfast bar, it's kinda gross. they just through everything on there on top of the food that's been there for 3 hours. I got really sick after eating it.... I called the manager the next day and she told me to call back after 12 hours, I would feel better. That was ridiculous. I live in Akron, and I am not going back there. I'll go to the Pancake House in akron first. Everyone is saying your going out of business. Thank god...

I can't imagine why you would go back to this place or why you waited until you got sick to stop going. I hope you reported this to the Board of Health. That way they'll either be forced to clean up their act or go out of business, hopefully before anyone else gets sick.

agreed venice. It would have taken me one time to black flag that place.

Many states do not require gloves. And many people who wear gloves still wipe their nose, handle cash, etc. Gloves do NOT mean things are any more sanitary that bare hands.

And how did you know food was out for three hours? did you sit there for three straight hours and document the employees work??
