Hardees inrockhill Complaint - Cold food and bad sevice

ROCKHILL, SOUTH CAROLINA -- The food is always cold and order is never right I order a hot dog combo with curly fries and a chicken strips combo with curly fries and payed more for curly fries and got regular fries had to go in and wait on them to cook my curly fries then got home to eat my chicken strips open the box and it was a egg roll thing had to go all theway back to get chicken strips and got cold chicken strips and the manager never came to talk to me he just walk by I will never go back there my god how hard is it to look at the screen and put the right stuff in the bag

Is there another location you can visit? I don't understand why you keep going back to a place, that does nothing, except constantly disappoint you.

Of course they can check the food, but many customers feel they should get the order right the first time. We do not do fast food very often, but if we do, I always check. It's easier to turn around in the parking lot and go back, then to have to get all they way home, find out it's wrong, and be even more aggravated.

If you know that the service is always bad along with the food, why do you keep going back? Tell them the problem and ask them to tell you when the fix the problem. Since you'll never hear from them, don't go back.

I'll open the bag and look to make sure I have the right stuff, but I won't open the individual boxes/wrappers to make sure they even bothered to put the right stuff in the right boxes. Can't I expect them to at least meet me *that* far?!?

I agree with the OP. The employees at this Hardee's are just too lazy. Take your business where they care about your business.

though... maybe it's me but if one part of the order was wrong, wouldn't it have saved return trips to check the rest of the order too?

I don't think we should expect nothing from employees just because they are paid minimum wage. They may not be professionals, but as the OP said, "how hard is it to look at the screen and put the right stuff in the bag".

Minimum wage doesn't mean an employee gets to just show up at work and do nothing. And it doesn't mean they are stupid either. I think we cause their lazy attitude by always saying we shouldn't expect much from a minimum wage employee. If a person hears something enough times, they start to believe it. There's nothing wrong with having a little pride in your work regardless of the pay.

you really expect $6 per hour employees to be cheerful, love their job and cater to every customer's beck and call? Most of them work there because they can't find any other job, or don't have any other skills other than flipping burgers. So if you really expect 5-star service, then youre living in a fantasy world.

I disagree, Prince. I know people who work their butts off and care about what they're doing instead of using the minimum wage excuse to do as little as possible. It depends on the individual. If it's someone's nature to care and always do their best, it's almost impossible for them to do the opposite.

People with solid work ethics work their tails off and act as though they love their jobs, regardless of the pay they agreed to earn. People who would rather not work (and by "work" I include getting the job done right), should just stay home. There is NO room for them. Period.

Why is that so difficult to understand? By some people's logic, why would anyone ever expect to get what they ordered from a fast-food restaurant? And when they don't, how dare they complain, lest they hurt the feelings of the poor minimum-wage worker.

I think there are legitimate reasons for the mistakes that are sometimes made at fast food places. I just don't think getting paid minimum wage is one of them.

People are paid to do their job correctly, regardless of the pay rate. It makes no sense to use pay as as excuse to do a half arse job.

Work ethic is NOT attached to pay. It is attached to self respect.

Any job worth doing is a job worth doing well. It is all about work ethic. If you start at the bottom and do every job well, you will be rewarded later on with a better job. People with bad attitudes usually don't go too far in any job market.

Coldfood, I expect someone else arrived home to discover your order in their bag. I imagine they were equally disappointed. Did you request to see the manager and he ignored you?

As far as pay scale, it has been my experience one can not take an employee who doesn't care, give that person a nice pay raise and expect he will change his work habits and attitude. He is what he is and it's doubtful he will change.

A lot of these minimum wage workers are working two, three or even four jobs to make ends meet. When I stop of these fast food places I don't expect great service. I also expect mistakes to be made. I don't call them names, question their intelligence, etc. I check my order, make a joke, and treat them like human beings.

Very disappointed every time I've been there there has been a ridiculous wait,not once but several times.Tonight I just got my money back and went to McDonald's .
