Startec Complaint - I Will Never Recommend Startec To Anybody
I subscribe to startec last year at the start of Ondoy so I can call my relatives in the Phils. It was fairly easy for me to apply and have been using the service. One thing is I have not received any bills when I tried to go to the account online, I do not have my account number. Since I'm on automatic bank draft and the amount taken out of my account seems fair to the number of minutes I've used it, I never bothered calling them to get my account number or get a paper bill which requires extra dollars. My problem began when I lost my debit card and had it replaced. I was trying to call them to give them another card number. I cannot reach them, since I don't know my account number nor the last 4 digits of my card (since it was stolen!!). There is no way I can talk to the operator until I called the sales people and they gladly transferred me directly to a customer service. Customer service personnel told me that the attempt to get payment from my stolen card failed last August and nobody bothered to call me or even leave a message. I was the one frantically trying to reach them for days. I tried going to the website to pay the bill but every time I access my account, it just keeps sending me to the first page. Until now, still unable to pay them. They are not bothered, why would I be?
