McDonald's Corporation Complaint - Total disregard for safety of customers
CONROE, TEXAS -- My husband and I go almost every morning to our local McDonald's in Conroe, Texas for sugar free vanilla iced coffee. Three weeks ago I ordered a caramel iced coffee for me and a sugar free iced coffee for my husband. He is a diabetic. When I got home, my husband advised his was not sugar free, but was a caramel iced coffee. We had been served two caramel coffees. I immediately called and advised that we were wrong, but if we came in the next day, we would receive our coffee at no cost.
This morning (9/12/2010) I ordered two SFV iced coffees. I watched as the lady made the coffee and she put the sugar vanilla syrup coffee in both. I asked her if the coffees were sugar free and she looked at me and said something about she did not understand me. After speaking with the manager, I was given the two correct coffees with a slight apology.
I did explain the consequences if my husband had drank the coffee and it fell on deaf ears.
