Time Warner Cable Complaint - Hidden Fees - Cable
NEW YORK -- I've had no issues with switching to Time Warner Cable because it seemed like the prices were much cheaper than my Verizon Phone and DSL Service combined with Direct TV. I immediately switched over and then realized that my bill is about $20 more than what I was informed I was going to pay per month. I already factored in taxes, by the way. In any case, they charged me for equipment for my first cable box. Thsi first cable box when ordered online states "included". Then there is an extra fee call "HDxtra". What is this? This again was never disclosed to me when ordering over the phone or online.
Point is - Time Warner Cable needs to disclose to customers how much exactly they will be paying per month. They need to fix both their phone customer service to reflect this as well as update their website for more detailed "forecasted" billing.
