Time Warner Complaint - Did I really sign up for this???
Ok!! For starters Time Warner's Internet service sucks! You never get the advertised speed and they routinely bring it down for "service". You call their help desk and the idiots aren't even aware of it and want to schedule a service tech to come out and take a look at your internet and charge you. It would be nice to get a friendly reminder on your bill stating that they will be doing service check on their internet. I understand that it happens but I don't understand the lack of communication. Now for their DVR service. It's amazing how my DVR has selective memory of when to record. Especially when you have it set for recording a series and it mysteriously misses new episodes. It's horrible!!! Though compared to the internet its much more reliable. If that's a word that I should be using. My cable/internet bill would be different every month. Even though I signed up for their surf/turf package deal for $84.99 a month. I would have to consistently call their "experienced" customer service and literally B***H them out to have my bill be what it was suppose to be. Don't even get me started on their joke of HD channels. Its not HD!! I am so happy that my lease is up at the end of the month because where I'm moving to I will have a choice of my service provider. I chose AT&T Uverse. BTW my bill will be $95.00 a month that includes all the premium channels and true high speed internet. A little info TW doesn't want you to know that in large apartment buildings all internet connections come in on one line and its shared between the whole building. So that means you get the speed that you get during peak times. Even on non peak times my upload would never pass. 5 mbs. I WILL NEVER EVER EVER EVER give my business to Time Warner. If you read this I suggest you don't do it either. Its funny how when I called to cancel my services and the lady that answered the phone asked me why I wanted to cancel and not transfer and I told her because my new place offers AT&T uverse and that Time Warner was crap. She didn't even bother to disagree with me one bit. She basically by the silence that was given agreed with me and let me on my merry way. Its sad that even your own employees agree that you offer crap service.
