Nationwide Corporation Complaint - WTF

Complaint
Review by wtfdoido on 2010-09-14
I was the passanger of my friends car, we were on our way to the nature center when a speeding car came across the yellow line hitting directly infront of the passenger(me) The car was totaled beyond belief, my door wouldn't even open and the car was facing the other direction once it had stopped turning. I was the only one injured, my left hand hit the dash so hard it broke my index finger in 3 places. A week after the accident I had to have surgery on my hand, I now have a large scar on my hamd and a metal plate holding my bone in place. My friend got a check 2 weeks later and a brand new car....BUT I got over 11,000 dollars in hospital bills from the accident that nationwide will not pay and I have perminent markers on my hand and face reminding me everyday that one of therir clients hit me and my friend. I don't think this is right!
Why must I suffer everyday when I wasn't driving and we were not speeding? Why must I be the one with the debt..im 19 yrs old and can't get anything in my name because of these bills I was left with after this accident. What am I suppost to do? Nationwide can't even talk to me on the phone because I'm not their client? SO HOW DO I GET JUSTICE????

You need to talk to an attorney. A quick google search turned up http://www.victimrightsfoundation.com/accidents/

You need to document the accident and start proceedings to sue the other driver for damages. They won't talk to you because you are calling them without a lawyer. You don't know how to force them to deal with you. A lawyer will.

Do your research before settling on an attorney. There are crooks out there. There are Lawyers who who will take a VERY large percentage of the settlement and do very little for you. There are also honest joes (who just happen to be scum sucker.. er lawyers) who will work hard for you. IT WILL NOT BE FREE.

Contact an personal injury attorney. They will take care of everything for you.

Good suggestions about the attorney.

You need to remember that it is ultimately the driver of the other vehicle who can be held liable for your care. I'd get on this immediately.
