Guardian Warranty. Complaint - Guardian Auto Warranty.

AVOCA, PENNSYLVANIA -- My turbo went out on the way out of PHX. I had it towed to Camp Verde which cost me $100. The little shop there had it over night so I had to stay in a hotel $73. The next day they told me they could not fix it. It was going to cost $400 to tow it to the shop that could fix it. I was told I could drive it home and be OK just go slow. So I did. I drove it to the shop that put that turbo in less than 8 months ago. The turbo my warranty co. sent to me.
They confirmed it was the turbo. I called the warranty co and found out I was 118 miles over the warranty. They told me there was nothing they would do for me! I could/should have hit them up for the two, room, and the tow back to the shop. I could see if I was over 1000 miles over but 118 and that was put on driving the truck to the shop. The part is under warranty I am just asking them to cover the labor. The labor to replace the part they sent me anyway.

Do yourself a favor. Those warranty companies are run by scam artists and crooks. Take the thousand or more dollars they charge you for these "warranties" and put your monay in an interest-bearing account. Then if something happens to your car, you have the money to fix it.
