Best Buy Complaint - Broken Promises
BAYTOWN, TEXAS -- I bought a PanaSonic Viera 50 inch 3d VT20 Series 1080 TV and PanaSonic 3d Blueray player. We also bought the TV stand, delivery, installation, networking, and calibration all on Sept. 10, 2010. we paid over $2,800.
We had, on the print out we received from the store, that the TV was to be delivered on 9-15-2010 between 7am and 7pm. After setting up the stand and making room for the TV we waited for the TV. At about noon, the delivery company called and said the truck was about an hour behind schedule, but our TV would be delivered between 2:00 and 5:30 pm. At 5:30, I called the delivery people. The phone rang and someone answered. I asked them when my TV would be here, they put me on hold, THEN THEY HUNG UP ON ME. This happened THREE times.
I then called the store, and I guess to to some manager, and he said he would find out what was going on and call me back. No one ever called me back, I had to call them back. I never received a straight answer.
Finally at 8:30 p. m., the delivery service called us and wanted to reschedule for the next day. I told them no, and I called the store and canceled the delivery.
The next day my husband and I went back to Best Buy and canceled the TV and returned the blueray.
We will not be going to Best Buy in the future to buy anything more than a DVD.
