Sears.com Complaint - Customer service is horrible
HOFFMAN ESTATES, ILLINOIS -- I purchased a lawnmower on 6/7/2010, it broke, when I called to Sears (8/3) they said that since it was under 90 days from the date of original purchase that they would replace the product, they would charge my card again and credit it back with the original product was returned. the Product has been returned (Sears local store picked it up) and I have had at least 6 one hour conversations trying to resolve a refund for a item that has been returned. Today I was told that they were going to refund a portion of my purchse (the date was 9/1, today is 9/17 this didn't happen). My advice is to never purchase any products on line from Sears, call the local store and have them order the same product if you really think you need to make a Sears purchase.
