Sears Complaint - Sears Service Sucks - 54" Lawn Tractor
WINSTON-SALEM, NORTH CAROLINA -- I purchased a new lawn tractor (cash money) for about $2600 from the Hanes Mall store located in Winston-Salem NC. I called for service and got a non-American who could barely speak English. I later found out that all service calls are routed to India. Sears picked the date and time of my repair but did not call and did not show up after I took a day off work and lost about $200. I called to find out what happened to find out my repair had been removed from the route due to the time it would take to repair. Again, not notifying me so I could go to work. I tried the phone and chat with service feature to find again I am routed to India where the agent refused to provide me with any supervisor name and even hung up on me when I asked for it. I have contacted the Hanes Mall Manager who was somewhat helpful but I still have a broken mower, no return call from service, and resolution to my issue. It is apparent that there is no service level for products purchased at Sears and they have no intention of making your problems go away. I would love to get a call and have someone say " we have a fix to your problem, come switch your mower for a new one that is not broken", now that is customer service. I am not asking for anything FREE. I just do not want to take time off work and loose money or continue with a broken mower which does not allow me to mow. How bad can this company get. I have no Sears credit card and will never purchase a product from this company.
