City Mattress Complaint - Product Manufacture Has No Warranty It Is Not Made In USA

Review by tubs on 2010-09-18
WELLINGTON, FLORIDA -- I called about furniture which was purchased in 2008 price w/mattress $4,077.95. I was told that we did not have a warranty from the manufacture as the furniture was not made in the us. that no one wqrranted furniture made abroad. I don't know if this is true as our sales person who ask of it we wanted an extended warranty told us we had a normal manfactures warranty. The furniture is falling apart and the mattress if lumpy-not in as good a condition as the mattress we got rid of after 26 years!!!
We know that this was not the most expensive furniture, however if after only 2 years it is in this condition then it is very expensive indeed. My husband and I are in our seventies and we thought it would last us at least ten years.
The store has no recourse for us. We thought maybe they would repair it for us - even if we paid a nonomial fee, but no offer to make good has come from them/

CONSUMERS BEWARE OF THIS JUNK BEING SOLD TO THE PUBLIC WITHOUT DISCLOSURE
THAT IT IS SUCH INFERIOR QUALITY AND THAT NO MANFACTURE GUARANTEES IT-

MARY H. LAIDMAN

THIS MATTRESS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE ON SALE FOR $2,049.00-WE THOUGHT THIS WOULD GIVE US A QUALITY MATTRESS.

What does the normal manufacturers warranty paperwork say about the mattress, if you begin to have issues?
