Sprint Complaint - Poor Customer Service
I purchased a Blackberry for my wife in February of 2010. Initially the Blackberry would freeze up, draw a blank screen, block text, etc. I immediately returned it to the Sprint store in Orem, Utah where they did a hard-reset. After this they told me to come back if the problem persisted. In April 2010, the problem returned and so I called the Sprint Customer Service line, where they again performed a hard-reset, claimed to make notes, and offered that if the problem persisted they would replace the phone. August 2010, again the phone shows the same problem, we take it back in to the store in Orem, and again they perform a hard-reset, letting us know that if the problem persists they will replace. They had no record of our previous exchanges, and put the onus on me to prove that we had been in before, as if there was a reasonable means for accomplishing such a thing. They insisted that notes had been made, and advised to return for a trade if the problem persisted. Today (9/18/2010) my wife complains that the phone is running the same problem, and when we take it in to the Sprint store in Orem, conveniently they have no notes on our past experience. I was highly upset and expressed my frustruation when they suggested, you guessed, a hard-reset with a promise to replace if problems persist. I would highly discourage anyone from conducting business with Sprint, particularly the Sprint store located in Orem, Utah. They have no interest in providing service. They will gladly rush you to the register to conduct a sale, but are severely lacking in the area's of customer service. They will conveniently appeal to "store policy" as a means to insulate themselves from effective service, and show a complete lack of empathy or consideration for paying customers. Sprint in general, seems to rank with insurance companies and banks as a business that has no regard for their clients investment and feels no need to provide legitimate value for the money exchanged for their "services". Highly dissappointed.
