The WORST Customer service -
They will send you coffee you didn't order and bill you for it or take it from your credit card without your approval.

They will not credit your account without a fight.

They won't close your account without a fight AND still send and bill you for coffee.

How does the membership work? Do you have to let them know ahead of time that you *don't* want coffee shipped to you?

When you order the Gevalia coffee pot, which is free, part of that free deal is automated coffee delivery every month. The terms and conditions are all spelled out. It's not like they have your credit card information and just decided to send you coffee every month.

Read your documentation, and see how long you must have these monthly coffee deliveries, which you agreed to, before you can cancel, this way you'll know exactly what to do for the future.

I'm on the Gevalia Limited Edition automatic coffee delivery program and the coffee is great. I receive a shipment of coffee every 3 months and I have never gotten anything taken out of my account that I didn't authorize, they don't even have my CC or debit card info, I get a bill. I have never received unwanted coffee or anything from them. On there web site you can choose how often and how much coffee you want sent. I have canceled once before and had no trouble. I have the bill me method of payment where they send me a bill and I send them payment. The only draw back of Gevalia is that they don't have a website in which to pay the bill, you have to send them either a money order or a check and the check can take up to 2-3 weeks to clear the bank after sending it. If I have had any trouble all I have to do is call them and it is taken care off. They are not rude or nasty on the phone with me, and they speak clear and plain English. I have had my account credited for various reasons without a fight or problem. I'm not sure who you speak to or how you speak to them, but I'm glad I don't get them.
