Dell Computer Corporation Compliment - Impeckable Service... I'm Stunned
I have to give it to dell's support staff. They turned a very angry customer into an advocate. I bought a laptop from Best Buy, had trouble because of some bad advice from the Geek Squad. It got pretty messy so I called Dell to get a restore disk. The Geek Squad told me it would probably cost $30-$50. I wasn't very pleased that I was calling India. (nothing against the people the service just usually that good) But after I got on the phone with a technician (who knew what he was talking about!) they ended up making me very happy. I asked them for a restore disk and they ended up sending me the restore disk for both a 64 and 32 bit system and a new hard drive!! On top of all of that they are sending it express, and for FREE!!! And when everything was over the tech put me on the phone with his manager to make sure that I was satisfied, which I was. Service at Dell has stepped up and I appreciate it.
