Banner Chevorlet Complaint - Converter
NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA -- I brought my car to be repaired in November because of bad gas.They were suppose to change the converter and clean the fuel injection. Once I picked up my car I noticed that I was having the same problems so I brought it back and they said that it was my senors and that it was going to cost me $720.00 to fix. I told them that I wanted to second opinion because I felt that they did not fix anything the first time. I brought my car to Mel's to have my second opinion. Mel told my husband that the senors were fine and that the converter needed to be changed. He also said that the converter was never changed in the first place and the part is under warranty. I called Banner and spoke with Patrick (the person in which was suppose to have my car fixed) and he said that he WILL NOT fix my car because I void the warranty by not having Banner fix my car in the first place. I told him that Mel's said that they car was never fixed and that the senors were fine. Patrick then said that Mel's is not a Certified AC Delco company. Which is not true. I would not have gone there otherwise. My car has been at Banner for about three months now and no one has answered any of my calls. All I want out of all this nonesense is my car fixed and I want people to know what kind of service Banner Chevorlet has to offer. Their slogan "where a friend sends a friend" should be changed to " where an enemy sends an enemy" because Banner chevolet's service department was very unhelpful when it comes to customer needs.
