Comcast Corporation Complaint - Comcast is a joke!! - cable/internet/landline
First off customer service is crap to begin with! Last summer my husband I shopped around for another cable company. The one we had was getting way to expensive. We saw an offer from Comcast about the $200 rebate and $99/mo for all three, cable/internet/landline, so we called them, and they said that we qualify for that. They asked us if we wanted to sign up and told them yes, we would like to sign up for that exact package. Needless to say we didn't exactly receive the rebate. We fought with Comcast for about 2 days, and I mean litteraly fought, like WW3 until I got fed up and emailed and called the ceo of Comcast and filed a complaint to the BBB. So we did get our rebate through credits, its just a migrain to get it.
Second off their equipment is nothing but junk! We had them for an entire year, and their equipment was always falling apart. The first time this happened, like 2 days after the battle, they gave us the run around, wanting to charge us, taking years to get around to it, or my I could drive about 40 minutes away to get the equipment and fix it ourselves. So I reported them again, and needless to say that never happened again, even though their equipment was still worthless. Our landline went out a few times, never happened before, internet was the slowelest I've ever seen, the modem had to be replaced once. DVR box was replaced about 8 times. The 3rd time it needed replaced, the guy had to replaced about 2 more times in the same trip before he could find one that actually worked. And our box upstairs had to replaced twice. Geez could you imagine the bill for that for someone that would let a company like this walk all over them?!?!? I cancled ASAP and will never ever go back to them. I'll deal with out cable/internet/phone if I have to, but I will never go back to Comcast ever again!
