FUSHIGI Informative - Fushigi Telemarketing

Review by Bobby on 2010-09-21
UNKNOWN, TEXAS -- Several weeks have passed since ordering a Fushigi anti-gravity ball. Today, I received a telemarketing call to verify my information. The call was troubling.

Caller stated:

1. a 'special package' of offers would be included with my order;

2. I could un-enroll anytime if I called a special number during daytime business hours.

UN-ENROLL? Wait. What? I did not enroll in anything!

Suspicious, I told the caller I did not want the offers. She responded with evasive and *very* carefully worded attempts to avoid the truth, which was

1. Offers were being sent anyway for my 'evaluation,' and

3. I had to SPECIFICALLY tell her 'DO NOT SEND THOSE OFFERS' to avoid being automatically enrolled.

**NOTE: Contact information (business address, office phone, email, owner name, company mission statement) is NOT available for this company by normal web search or WhoIS query.

OP, I would cancel the order immediately before they charge you for something you didn't want. You can get it through a store soon and not even have to worry about these telemarketing bullies. Here OP, here's a link to order the fushigi through Toys R Us http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=4358813. No hassle and no scams. I never order anything from TV because if you wait long enough, you can just buy it in the store and risk nothing.

Ytropious ..thank you for the link! I will post it for friends and family. There is a 30-day return policy so if anything is included other than the ordered item, there will be a lawsuit. There may be anyway ... I've reported them to the Missouri Attorney General's office of Consumer Protection..
