Tidewater auto broker Complaint - Tidewater auto brokers are liers

Review by kandr on 2010-09-22
VIRGINIA BEACH, VIRGINIA -- Tidewater guaranteed my family a car over the phone said there would be no problems and would even buy us lunch because of the long drive. We drove 4 1/2 hrs one way to go pick us a car. When we got there we were treated really bad. They told us we were not going to be able to get the car after all and didn't even buy us lunch like they said they would. After two hours of sitting there waiting on them to get their stuff together we went home. Why would I drive for 9 hrs round trip to go get something with out a guarantee...

This place says they support military well they treated use like crap and I will never buy a car from them and I don't think anyone else should. They advertise "are you tired of being jerked around use us" well they are the jerks...Be smart don't use them...

I'm not trying to diminish this review, but you had to drive 4 1/2 hours to buy a car? I cant believe you would have drove all that way just for a car. I have about 30 dealerships in a 5 mile radious from me, and even can approve people with bad credit.

My credit isnt the greatest, and I could have gotten a car loan. I chose not to because the interest rate I was quoted was absolutely rediculous. So I just saved my money up and bought a decent used car. theres TONS of places, even regular dealerships, who can get you financed. These places are hurting and will do just about anything to get a sale. All I had to show was my paystubs and a few bills with my address on it.

Lol, you seem very fixated on that lunch. This complaint makes no sense to me. Why would anyone in their right mind drive 4 hours away from home just to visit a car dealership? You probably drove past hundreds of them along the way, lol.
