RealtyTrac Complaint - Stay Away at all costs - listings are old, innacurate and expired, - foreclosure listing service

Licensed RE broker, I signed up for the "Free 7 Day trial period".
Received a call less than 24 hours later asking if I'd be interested in checking out their agent/broker section.
I said yes. They never told me that would void my 7 day trial period and they charged me $49.95 for something I was supposed to get a trial period to evaluate.
When I tried to contact the cs representative I was put on hold for 10 minutes and shuttled into her voice mail. Which was probably for the best.
After going through this one can conclude that RealtyTrac is very much aware of how out of date and inaccurate their listings are and they know if anyone should look into their listings it will take considerably less time to make the same determination.
One needs to go no further than plugging their name in to "Google" to see their shameful history of operating in this fashion.

A lot of these "Free" trials (and not just in Real Estate) have small print that can, as you've found, end up costing you money. Thank you for warning other consumers about this.
