Uverse Complaint - Not as expected
Oh, yeah, you have to take everything to the UPS store w/in 10 days of canceling so you aren't charged a $150.00 fee!!
Just called for a small credit on AT&T internet bill and was solicited for Uverse. Sounded great (all channels for 1 year) and price was the same as directTV with a phone line added. after installation. it went down hill. The remote is not user friendly. Using DVR would cause other TV's in the house to shut off for a short time. If recording 4 shows at a time. you have to delete a show in order to watch live TV, then another TV gets shut off in order to delete the 4th show.
CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE: On hold for 45 min. The bill was not what I was told it would be and I was transferred to sales, billing, customer service to try to get resolved, but they would credit any of the fees or I would lose the mthly credit that was offered.
CANCELING WAS A NIGHT MARE: On the phone for 2 1/2 hrs. Tranfered to every department in the corporation in order to cancel. I wanted my AT&T DSL back, but they wouldn't do it. said since the house is now wired for Uverse, DSL is obsolete???? I now have to pay more for my internet than before I switched. Went back to DirectTV who was very gracious as always!
UPS store said they are getting about 25 returns from Uverse a mth.
